Hi,
Using M3O 3.0.1.1.
Searching on the docs I am unable to find a sample on how to use this custom function.
I have a timestamp and would like to apply a pattern such as DD-MM-YYYY to the date object comming in.
Is this the way to do it?
Thank you,

Hi Jpalacios,
This should depend on the database you are using. Do you mean a date converting function?

There are several questions in my first post:
1. custom extract function - how do we use it? are there samples?
2. I have a timestamp and I have seen that custom extract function allows you to set a Pattern. Since I dont see how to use this custom function I don´t know if I can apply a pattern such as “DD-MM-YYYY” to a timestamp field.
Thank you,

Click on open/close functions drawer
Go down and search for custom function called “Extract”

Hi Jpalacios,
The “extract” function you refered to is not what you expect, it's function is to extract a simple element from a complex type using XPath. What you expect is in Datetime Category, you can add some datetime functions using Concatenate function.
