Hi,

Is there a way to configure/read user workgroup by reading the workgroup information from LDAP? Right now, in M3O 3.2, the workgroup and users of workgroup need to be created in M3O, and it is too cumbersome for administrator to maintain at both side (M3O and LDAP).

I know we can configure JBoss to use LDAP for user authentications, and should be able to read user grouping from LDAP as well for the M3O Workflow workgroup, or am wrong on this..

Hi,

By default M3O uses DB to store workgroup user information, you can change it to use a LDAP to do this. But both do not provide a public api to config/read user information, the only way is M3O itself. You can image if other application changes workgroup user information, M3O may not work.

Not sure it is what you want to know.
